The Hispanic BIC is partnering with the New York State Federation of Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (NYSFHCC) and ACCION USA to host a Hispanic Business Forum on August 6 from 10 am to 12 noon at Casa Puebla, 2710 Broadway (at 103rd Street), 2nd floor. The forum is part of the NYSFHCC annual convention and Expo, and it provides business, political and community leaders an unprecedented chance to discuss the business challenges and opportunities for New York’s Hispanic entrepreneurs.

The Hispanic BIC will host its third Hispanic Business Forum on September 3 at Mi Casa Resource Center in Denver. The Hispanic BIC will continue gathering input from forums being held in several key U.S. cities and share information with policymakers to influence future legislation. On June 30, over 65 Chicago Hispanic leaders gathered for the first Hispanic Business Forum held at Mi Tierra Restaurant in Chicago’s Little Village. Participants were treated to a lively and thought-provoking discussion on ways to support Chicago’s Hispanic entrepreneurs now and in the future. Attendees were equally impressed by the Hispanic BIC website and the breadth of national and local Chicago resources it contained. The forum was so popular that the Hispanic BIC was asked to return to the community to host another forum in Spanish and gather input from an even larger audience.
